Key Features

A little bit flashy and cool

There is no doubt that fat tyre retro motorbike style ebikes are in fashion. The flash is just that, a little bit flash. It is designed to turn heads if you are quick enough to see it ride past!

Smooth out the ridewith front shocks

With 80mm of travel, compression adjustment and lockout you are guaranteed a smooth ride with the Flash.

Powerful motors

Whether you choose the LITE, MID or AWD every configuration has one thing in common, POWER. From 92Nm with the LITE, 184Nm with the MID to an insane 220Nm torque with the MID you will be anything but slow.

With the potential for up to 3 batteries loaded under the seat, on the head tube and on the down tube you can become a long distance commuter. Try up to 350km on a single charge!

Extra suspension?

TRY THE MID-DRIVE OPTION

For riders more susceptible to shocks or the adventures that want to take the bike further off-road the rear shocks are a great option.

Yes fat tyre ebikes are smoother than most but for some riders the need to enjoy the ride can be easily disrupted by uneven terrain. We’ve all felt the bump of an unexpected pot hole and wondered why we have to put up with it. Well now you don’t have to as you have protection from the tyres, rear shocks and front shocks. Not to mention the long motorcycle style seat. You will feel like you are riding on a cloud.

Connectivity

TRY THE EUNORAU APP!

Get connected with the Eunorau app. A multi-functional outdoor fitness app. Users can use the app to connect to all Eunorau ebikes and analyse their trips and track how many calories they are burning.

FAQs

What is the top speed of the Flash?

The top speed is 32-45 kilometres per hour.

Can I unlock the speed to make it go faster?

No, you can’t

Can I add a throttle assist to the Flash ?

The Flash comes with a throttle.

Do I need a license or registration to ride the Flash?

In general, you do not require a licence or registration to ride an ebike. Note however state and territory laws to vary. What you do need to adhere to are the general road rules such as wearing a helmet, not riding under the influence and not operating an ebike with a throttle on the road. There are also some laws regarding riding on the footpaths that need to be understood in different states and territories.

Are e-bikes legal to ride on the road?

Australian laws are derived from European standards EN15194 and do vary between states. The basic rules are:

  • The motor must not exceed 250W (the exception is NSW which allows 500W)
  • Must require pedalling for motor to operate (known as pedalac)
  • Must not be operated purely by throttle
  • The motor must not exceed 25km/h
  • If a throttle is used it must cut off at 6km/h and be installed on an bike with a motor no more than 200W (pretty much making all ebikes with a throttle illegal on main roads)

Check your local authority to understand regulations in your area as they can vary.

Can the Flash ride up hills easily?

Yes, all 3 motors have sufficient torque and power for any hill out there.

How many gears does the Flash have?

The Lite and AWD are both single speed. The MID has 8 speed gears.

Can I check the battery level of the Flash?

Yes, this is shown on the display and the actual battery.

How long does delivery take?

We ship out stock from Melbourne the next day after the order is placed. Fore most metro cities in Australia on the east coast it takes 3-5 days for the ebike to be delivered. For more remote locations that are further from Brisbane or in smaller towns allow 7-10 working days. We cannot control the speed of freight but do provide updates and tracking so you know where the goods are during the delivery time period.

Can I still ride the Flash if the battery is empty?

This would be very difficult given the bike weight and the 2 models that have single speed it would be virtually impossible. Note however there are up to 3 batteries available so if you have longer commutes it is worth purchasing a second battery.

How many km does the battery last per full charge?

The range depends on several factors such as your driving style, tyre pressure, weight, terrain and weather conditions. With the single52V16Ah battery you could expect between 60-100km per charge. If you add a second battery this will increase to 140-220km and a third will lift the range up to 350km. With all 3 batteries you can easily reach 200km even using a high pedal assist level.

Is the battery removable and is it protected against theft?

Yes, the battery can be removed by unlocking it with the key. There is no theft protection as standard however.

How do you charge the battery and how long does it take?

If the battery is empty, it will take 5 to 6 hours to fully charge the battery. You can charge the battery in a standard power point.

Is there a way to get a stronger battery?

If so, what are the additional costs?Yes, add up to 2 additional batteries from the standard 52V16Ah battery. The second 21Ah battery will cost an additional $1050, the third17Ah $899 or both for $1949.

What is the typical battery life?

In general, the battery can withstand approximately 1000 charging cycles. Depending on use, it lasts 2 to 5 years.

Can I modify the bike and how will that affect my warranty?

Some modifications are ok on your ebike and will not affect your warranty. You can for example change the tyres. Note that the standard tyres are designed for this style ebike. You will be limited to 20 inch tyres with only a small margin for the tyre width. If unsure refer to our warranty policy, or call us first before making modifications.

What engine is used?

We use a completely a rear hub 750W motor for the LITE, a dual 750W motor for the AWD, and Truck run 1000W mid-drive motor for the MID model.

What does the Flash weigh?

The model weights range from 37.5kg (LITE) to 42kg (AWD and MID).

Is the saddle adjustable?

No.

Does the Flash have mudguards?

No, mudguards are available as an upgrade option for $134.

What size are the wheels and what type of tyres does the Flash come with?

The Flash models have CST 20 x 4 inch fat tyre off road tyres.

Can you install a child seat on the Flash?

Not at this stage.

Do the lights still work when the battery is empty?

No, the bicycle lights are powered by the battery and therefore do not work when the battery is empty.

What is the max weight and how tall do you have to be for this bike?

The maximum allowed weight is 200 kilos. The built-in saddle height adjustment and the long saddle ensure that people of different heights (from 157 to 195 centimetres) can ride the bike.
